Our iPads are perfect for reading e-books, sketching, taking notes, or working on creative projects. These are a great option when you need a powerful yet portable device to complement your studies.
iPads are available for walk-in checkout at the SU Libraries MakerLab. You can also place a request in advance to have one held for you. When all iPads are checked out, placing a request is required.
To place a request, complete an iPad Request Form. You will receive an email at your SU email address when one is available. Depending on availability, this could take between 1 and 14 days.

Chargers for MacBook models that are capable of charging over USB-C are also available. Please note that due to the wide variety of different charging standards for Windows laptops, we do not offer power cords for Windows devices at this time.

The SU Libraries has a wide variety of DVDs and CDs available, both to entertain as well as to educate. Our DVD collection is located in the Pit on the first floor of the Guerrieri Acadmic Commons, and the Music CD collection is located on the third floor.
DVDs can be checked out for two weeks, and music CDs can be checked out for the entire semester!
We get it — most students don't have a convenient way to play physical discs these days. That's why we offer external DVD drives which allow you to view DVDs and listen to CDs from our collection, even if you don't have a disc drive on your computer. They connect with a standard USB cable. If your personal device does not have the correct port, PCs located throughout the Guerrieri Academic Commons can be used instead.
