Honors Courses
Honors courses often emphasize open discussion, research skills, leadership and community engagement, as well as learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Students can complete HONR courses, usually with unique topics not taught elsewhere at SU, and honors (“H”) sections of SU courses (for example BIOL 101-001H is an honors-specific section of BIOL 101 that is limited in section size and more discussion and research focused than other BIOL 101 sections).
